A downloadable game

Overview

synapsium is an abstract, network-based logical puzzle game in which simple rules are combined to create emergent complexity.

The aim of the game is simple: in each level, you'll find yourself assembling networks with the goal of lighting up bulbs; once you light up all of the bulbs, you've completed the level and can progress onto the next.

As you advance through the levels, the difficulty will slowly build and you'll find yourself assembling networks of increasing complexity.

The networks consist of various nodes, each of which serves a unique purpose and is subject to a set of rules that you'll deduce over time. These nodes are gradually introduced as you progress through the levels.

Inspirations

synapsium is inspired by graph theory, mathematical logic, electronic circuits, as well as incredible puzzle games such as The Witness and Baba is You.

Notes on technology

synapsium runs on a custom engine written in C++ and powered by raylib.
